TECHSOFT's history is firmly rooted in software and database development. Founded in 1990 by DoD software engineers, the company has provided worldwide software and database support to major intelligence systems throughout the United States, Europe, the Far East, and for a number of U.S. Navy projects.

TECHSOFT applies a rigorous, disciplined approach to software and database development based on the Capability Maturity Model^® Integration (CMMI^®) for Development (CMMI^®-DEV) developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie-Mellon University.

The company maintains an extensive software metrics database that collects project, product, and process measurements to support effective and efficient project estimation and costing.

Independent Verification & Validation (IV & V)
As an IV&V agent TECHSOFT's team of experts provide an objective CMMI based assessment of software products and processes through the software life cycle. This assessment is completed in an environment independent of the influence, guidance and control of the development effort therefore ensuring an unbiased review.

Technical Documentation

TECHSOFT is experienced in developing technical reports and this experience encompasses a wide variety of technical writing including: analysis reports, feasibility studies, proof of concept reports, equipment manuals, operator manuals, and the full range of system development and life-cycle support documentation.

Additionally, we provide assistance in review, modifications and updates, standardization, storage, publication and automation of all forms of documentation.

Testing & Evaluation

TECHSOFT has extensive experience providing integration test and evaluation support for new and upgraded subsystems under development for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Navy (DON).

We perform Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E)/Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) of DoD and DON shipboard Automated Digital Network System (ADNS) and various Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) network communications systems. These systems include, but are not limited to, Integrated Shipboard Network System (ISNS), Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System-Maritime (CENTRIXS-M), Sensitive Compartmented Intelligence (SCI) networks, and the new Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES).

Data collection and analysis, and network functionalities/capabilities are included in these tests.
