Stan Allsopp - Director of Training Services

Stan Allsopp serves as Director of Training Development for TECHSOFT, as well as the company’s Senior Training Specialist.

In this role, Mr. Allsopp serves as project coordinator for all planning, coordination, documentation, testing, and maintenance of complex modeling and simulation projects for the DoD. He has also served as project coordinator for multiple successful projects to develop and deliver web-based courseware and multimedia computer-based training classes for various DoD customers.

Mr. Allsopp joined TECHSOFT in 1995 after retiring from the Navy with 24 years of experience in leadership positions in cryptologic operations, training, and management. Mr. Allsopp has more than 13 years of experience in cryptologic training, ranging from training management and training systems design and development, to curriculum design and development.

While serving as Chief of the Military Cryptologic Training Division at the National Security Agency's National Cryptologic School, Mr. Allsopp was responsible for managing the planning and budgeting for all DoD cryptologic training system procurements, course content, technical adequacy, and manning. He also managed a major programming effort to upgrade training delivery methodologies across the DoD, incorporating many automated strategies. During his three years in this capacity, Mr. Allsopp managed a staff of 40 personnel while chairing numerous NSA and DoD committees on the advancement of training processes and methodologies. He championed many distance learning techniques that he continues to advance while leading TECHSOFT's training development projects.

Mr. Allsopp's career with the U.S. Navy included responsibilities as Executive Officer for a command over 1,000 people at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station in Rota, Spain. He also served as Director of Cryptologic Training for the U.S. Navy while stationed at the Naval Technical Training Center Corry Station, responsible for over 60 highly technical and complex formal courses of instruction, over 500 staff instructors, and a daily average student count of over 3,000.

Mr. Allsopp holds a Master of Arts degree in Management from Central Michigan University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in General Arts and Sciences from Penn State University.
