 TECHSOFT provides a wide variety of technical training,
training development, and training support services to its clients.
In addition to their technical qualifications, a number of our
skilled staff are also certified as qualified instructors and
curriculum developers, well versed in Instructional Systems Design (ISD)
principles.
Our experience and expertise ranges from curriculum development for
traditional podium-style courseware to design and development of
technology based training (TBT) including Computer-Based Training (CBT),
Web-Based Training (WBT), and support to modeling and simulation
development efforts for training.
TECHSOFT’s traditional training material design, development,
and delivery includes MS Windows NT System Administration. Network
and Computer Security are also taught.
TECHSOFT, in conjunction with the University of West Florida (UWF),
designed, developed, and taught three software engineering, network,
and databases courses at UWF, primarily to U.S. Navy personnel. This
task continued for more than ten years.
TECHSOFT provides highly interactive technology based training (TBT)
solutions for both commercial and federal clients. TECHSOFT employs
concepts in both Computer Based Training (CBT) and Web Based
training (WBT) development collated by recognized experts in the CBT
and WBT fields. We are well versed and experienced in production of
TBT that meets ADA Section 508, SCORM, and other standards and
guidelines.
CAPABILITIES
TECHSOFT’s TBT development capabilities include motion video,
various complex graphics and animation schemes, and audio creation
and editing to accommodate a full range of interactive multimedia
training levels to support customer requirements.
Our CBT development labs are capable of producing multimedia
courseware using a variety of CBT authoring systems. We have
produced CBT titles for both standalone and LAN-based delivery,
either resident on individual PC hard drives or CD-ROM. A wide
range of CBT interactivity is available, from basic computer-driven
learning to highly interactive multi-depth student-driven
methodologies.
Our WBT development lab is configured to meet an equally wide range
of customer desires. We have produced WBT that is both browser and
platform independent, combining classic HTML programming with
JavaScript and Java applets to maximize audio and animation
capabilities over the web.
