The
Software Engineering Institute
(SEI)
at Carnegie Mellon University is a leader in establishing models
for process improvement that have been adopted by government and
commercial interests here in the US and around the world.
To provide leadership in the transitioning of new
systems engineering and software engineering technology into
practice, Carnegie Mellon University/ SEI licenses specific SEI technologies—typically training
courses or assessment services—to organizations called “SEI Partners.”
TECHSOFT is an SEI Partner and is licensed to provide the “Introduction
to CMMI®” course. To become
an SEI Partner, TECHSOFT passed a rigorous selection criteria which included:

Demonstrated ability to provide the highest
quality training and consulting services and include quality
assurance for those services

Demonstrated ability to transition technology
practices in commercial settings, including competence in
organizational change management
Additionally, TECHSOFT process engineers completed
a number of SEI training
courses designed to ensure the CMMI®
training services provided are academically superior and meet the
high standards of CMU and the SEI.
